CUSN Chief Executive Patrick Nash will be speaking at the forthcoming
conference, ‘Delivering 14-19 Provision: Meeting the Need of Students
and Employers.'
Organised by Westminster Briefing, Delegates will discuss reforms
and their implications for local authorities, schools, education
practitioners, employers, HE providers and this, and future,
generations of young people. Participants will have the opportunity to
engage with the panel in a number of interactive sessions throughout
the day.
Patrick is leading a session called ‘Building the 14-19 Workforce'. Key issues for discussion include:
- Mapping the 14-19 workforce
- Up-skilling the workforce to meet the new challenges
- Parity of rewards in schools and colleges
- Succession planning for senior managers
- Recruiting the next generation for 14-19 delivery
The conference will take place on Thursday 11th December, 2008
between 9am and 4:30pm at the Commonwealth Club, 25 Northumberland
Avenue, London.
